Summary: And here we have yet another dark anti-hero desperately trying to be Batman. But to this one's credit, he does have a lot of attributes that help him stand out on his own...at least, at first.

History: Almost every film featuring the corvid-themed superhero known as the Crow begin similarly. A person madly in love with his partner gets killed unceremoniously, but a combination of luck and the sheer will of his love bring him back from the grave as a vengeful spirit out to kill the wrongdoers.

Notable Kills: Eric fills his nemesis' brain with the pain and suffering his girlfriend went though at his hands. It literally causes the man's mind to melt and him fall of a ledge.

Final Fate: Pretty much every single Crow has fulfilled his task of killing his death's perpetrators, and depending on what ending you're okay with regarding the second film, all Crows reunite with their loves in the afterlife.

Powers/Abilities: Superhuman strength/agility, nigh-invulnerability, can see through crows, become a crow, and can ever overload a man's brain with telepathic thoughts.

Weakness: Beings of equal power and also just enough firepower.

Scariness Factor: 2-The Crow, despite his dark appearance, is a hero though and through, and knows better than to compromise his morals even while pursuing vengeance. Also, his get-up can occasionally look a bit too try-hard and edgy, especially in the sequels.

Trivia: -Unfortunate as it is, the first film is often remembered as the last film that Brandon Lee starred in due to a tragic special effects accident that cost him his life. Every showing afterwards has been dedicated mostly to his memory.

-There is very little difference between the Crow and the comic book character he's based on. Well, aside from the stories the sequels are based on being infinitely better.
